A Change of the Nation

Mr. Obama was elected President!!!
He will be the 1st African-American leader of the United States.

I'm so excited about the news!
I was watching ABC News on TV (live broadcast through NHK), checking the websites of BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera English.

I watched his speech of winning the race.
He encouraged the audience, quoting President Lincoln's famous phrase "government of the people, by the people, for the people".
Mr. McCain was graceful and cool, too.

I just checked the Nishinippon Shimbun's evening paper.
It also says "Obama has won the US presidential election". (1:50 pm in Japan)
