Osaka public prosecutors allowed police officers to rape citizens

On 31 July, 5 police officers of Osaka Prefectural Police drove to a beach on their break. They picked up 3 teenage girls and forced them to drink alcohol in one gulp. Pretending to take care of her, 永田昌也 (Nagata Masaya) took a ill girl on his rubber boat and raped her. She was crying her mother's name for help all the time, according to witnesses. She was nearly in acute alcoholism and was took to hospital quickly when police officers arrived at the crime scene after witnesses' call. He was arrested in the very act of rape. Other 4 colleagues told him not to go too far and they also sexually assaulted 2 other girls, but the police did not arrest them, accused them nor announce their names to the public.

On 21 August, Osaka Public Prosecutor's Office suddenly announced to drop the case. The police and the prosecutors said nothing after the arrest. Most media did not criticize the police's dealing. On next day they released the suspect because "the suspicion is not enough". The prosecutors claimed they're not sure whether the victim could resist or not.

Ha! The prosecutors believe we can oppose against violation in acute alcohol intoxication.

Some media said the suspect's parent has authority and leaned on.

The Police says they will fire the suspect and punish the colleagues, and the Prosecutor's Office says they're keeping on investigating even though his release. But I doubt them.

Nagata Masaya might revenge on the girl for the charge, as yakuza do.

The rapist police officers must be searching for next targets.

Disney approves of same-sex weddings

Tokyo Disney Resort approved of same-sex couples' weddings in the resort.

東京ディズニーリゾートの同性カップルの結婚式、とうとう新聞記事になった!
... on Twitpic
The Mainichi Shimbun article on 18 May 2012

A few months ago Tokyo Disney Resort announced they will offer wedding service in their hotels. A woman asked TDR about same-sex couples and TDR answered it's all right if one wears a dress and the other dresses as a man. The woman wrote about it on Twitter, and so many people retweeted and commented disappointment against Disney. Then TDR made sure the policy with The Walt Disney Company and made an answer again to her that same-sex couples can have a wedding in same-sex dresses. She wrote the answer on Twitter again and much more people congratulated it.

Japanese law does not allow same-sex couples to get married. The Liberal Democratic Party, a conservative party, disagrees because they believe that same-sex weddings destroy the "family" system and that same-sex weddings speed up declining birth rate. Nonsense! The Democratic Party of Japan, now government party, is dull to revise the civil law on same-sex wedding, discrimination rule between legitimate child and illegitimate child, and easier rule of choosing surname when married. Perhaps we should wait until old consevative politicians pass away.

Google Denies Removal of Privacy-Invading Suggestions

On 19 March, Tokyo District Court ordered Google's United States headquarters to delete the autocomplete results violating a Japanese man's privacy. But Google rufused and stated "We're not regulated by Japanese laws.", and he's not yet relieved from the damage and loss.

When typing his real name a word related to crimes appears as a suggestion with his full name, and if you choose it the search result shows articles insulting him.

A few years ago the man was fired by his employer without his fault. After that he tried to get a job, but all the companies said "No". He hired private detective agency and knew that 10,000 slander articles, which says as if he commited a crime, are posted on the Internet and that the suggeting function leads to the libellous posts.

The man and his lawyer asked Google at first, but Google did not help him. Tokyo District Court ordered the removal to both Google US and Japanese headquarters in October last year. Japanese HQ claimed only United States HQ has authority. So the man stopped asking Japanese HQ. United States HQ insisted "Just arrangement of words is not violation of privacy. Words are selected by computers and we don't arrange them arbitrarily." Google also said "We will not delete the result according to our Privacy Policy."

Google's search engine is also used in Yahoo! Japan search, and so Google monopolizes virtually in Japanese search engine share.
The Mainichi Shimbun reported in Japanese, and I summerized in English.

Eric Schmidt said before "Move your house if you don't want to be shot for Street View." It means there's no privacy on the Earth. Google will make all the people naked. All the people around the world are Google's slaves. Google will share privacy of their slaves. Google will control every information. Google will control this world.

Google is arrogant.

The man who wanted his name deleted in search results was a member of gang rape group "Super Free". He claimed he didn't belong to its gang rapes, but I doubt it. He must have known the group's sex crimes, and he should have stopped the rapists and have reported the police. He did NOTHING to save the victims. He tried to escape his guilt. He is the same as the rapists.

Why America Fights

I watched a documentary film “Why We Fight”. It was about the United States and the military-industrial complex.

A few authorities, such as politicians, munitions industry, and think tanks, have tried to control the country, in turn the world – and they did. No one can stop their despotism. A good example of this is the drama “24” Season 7: it depicts an attempt by the private military company Starkwood.

Many government officials become an executive in private military companies. The companies spread a lot of money to politicians. The politicians claim the cut of military budget is the loss of employment. Just as blackmail.

Think tanks create/produce new theories and new enemies. They tempt politicians into starting a war. As a result, they can get lots of money.

Dictators are easy to recognize. But the set of unconscious harm, which they think goodwill, is awkward.

How many people are you going to kill? You have murdered millions of lives for uncountable years. You have judged defeated nations guilty. So are you.

"Anti"

People who criticize things that does not match their taste, liking, or preference. They often blame fans who love "anti's" dislikes.

There are two types of "antis": agressive ones and silent ones; Agressive "antis" are silly, foolish, idiot: they like dualism and they don't understand people have a lot of senses of values; Silent "antis", on the other hand, are relatively smart. They usually gather together in their community and share opinions with people of same thoughts. Leave silent ones alone, so they don't bother you.

It is important to ignore "antis" when you see somewhere someplace. If you try to argue with them, they will probably attack you: not only your opinion, but also your personality.

"Antis" are like a mechanical doll: They respond to people who react to their trap.

Genocide

Today of 65 years ago, another genocide occured by the hands of the United States. An atomic bomb was dropped on innocent people in Nagasaki.

75,000 people. Scapegoats to stop Japan continue the war, for many American people.

The United States was in cahoots with the Nazis, which it called as the axis of evil.

The United States loves wars. They joined in many, many wars after Puritans arrived at the North American Continent. Puritans killed Native Americans and founded bases of the nation. The Civil War, capitalised as a proper noun but in short it's a domestic warfare. The lost southern people who believed Black people as slaves changed Ku Klax Klan, racist criminal organization, into National Rifle Association. What murder-loving people Americans are. World War I, World War II, the Cold War, the Korean War, the Gulf War and presently continuing Afgan and Iraqi Wars. In addition, a lot of Peace Keeping Operatins to stop civil wars in other countries.

The United States government and the munitions industry are in honeymoon for a long time. The government joins in wars one after another to have the munition companies make a profit. So the companies pay taxes with thanks.

President Obama's hedging

The United States President Obama visited Japan today, and he and Prime Minister Hatoyama had a meeting a little while ago. At the press conference, President Obama hedged the answer of the question that a Japanese journalist asked how he thinks about the atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

I understand why he did so. But I wished he was wiser than any other presidents in the past. Unfortunately, a lot of people in the United States think it was right to drop the atomic bombs to make Japan stop the war. Whether President Obama thinks it was good or bad, he cannot be able to apologize for the atomic bombs. If he said an apology for that, many American people would explode in anger and demand of resignation.

People who think the atomic bombs were right should visit Atomic Bomb Memorial Dome in Hiroshima or Urakami Cathedral and Atomic Bomb Museum in Nagasaki. I'm sure they will change their minds.

Oh, ignorance is a sin!

folder

Folders have time stamps that are the present date and time when they are copied and pasted, but they have ones that they were created when they are cut and pasted. So it is good to cut and paste folders if we want to keep their time stamps.

The Quality of Sound in CDs

Recently I prefer to use lossless codecs instead of mp3. In many cases, bitrates affect the quality of sound: the higher bitrates the better quality. I wondered how many bitrates CDs have, so I searched and found it.
16 bits · 2 channels · 44100 Hz = 1411.2 kbps

"16 bits" means the quantity of data in one sample. "2 channels" means stereo: right and left sounds. "44100 Hz", or sometimes "44.1 kHz", means the times of calculations in one second: CD players calculate samples 44,100 times in a second.

How much data does music need? Many albums contain over 60 minutes. Let's think about a just 60 minute CD.
1411.2 kbps · 3600 seconds · 1/8 = 635,040,000 bytes ~ 635 MB

"1/8" means conversion units from bits to bytes.

CD-R/RW have usually 650 MB, but some have 700 MB. We can recond music about 60 minutes in 650MB CDs and 70 minutes in 700MB CDs.
650 MB · 8 bits / 1411.2 kbps ~ 3685 seconds = 61 min. 25 sec.
700 MB · 8 bits / 1411.2 kbps ~ 3968 seconds = 70 min. 8 sec.

But unfortunately we can't use maximum spaces. Some spaces are necessary in addition to spaces for recording music when we write onto discs. This happens with DVDs and Blu-ray Discs, too. We can know this when we format blank discs. Perhaps makers will say, "It's because of the standards."

I like the spelling of "disc" better than that of "disk".

My first voting

I've just gone to vote in an election for the first time.

This general election is to choose members of the lower house. And it's drawing people's attention about whether the overthrow of the government will happen or not: Japan has been ruled by the Liberal Democratic Party after the war. Liberal Democrats and government officials have developed too-cozy relationships for a long time.

4 years ago, the former prime minister Koizumi Junichiro with the LDP and Komei Party (puppet party of a cult group Soka Gakkai) contested seats in the lower house against other parties about privatizing postal services. Koizumi won the election and the Japanese postal services were privatized. But the quality of the services got worse.

Both former prime ministers Abe Shinzo and Fukuda Yasuo threw out government in a year: the government changed 4 times withoust any election.

Government officials have wasted taxes, they have been appointed to high positions in private companies after their retirement, and it was discovered they had falsified the records of pensions.

People are getting angry with politicians and government officials. So the Domocratic Party is hoped for.

Japanese people are expecting a leader like President Barak Obama in the United States.

Garnet Cradle

I started to play "Garnet Cradle", though it's a little bit late since it was released.

I'm little bit sad because the protagonist, in other words I, isn't called her name by other characters and she doesn't have any voice. So that players can easily empathize of the main character, with freely deciding her name. (We can also choose our own name as her.) But it's amuzing like I was attracted into the story.

The main character Miku is so cute! She's a little bit shy, (or rather she wants to live in a quite way?), but it's not unpleasant and so I have a favorable impression.

Miku's best friends Tsubaki-chan and Nono-chan are pretty too. (By the way, why Misaki-chan is called Nono-chan?)

I'm just in the beginning, so Miku has ordinal relationships with the boys. But I feel that Sariya and Toya are unfriendly, that So is kind, that Rihito seems to be plotting something under his smile, and that Kiichiro is like a cute puppy.

Garnet Cradle has Arabian flavour in it, so its music does too. It's sitar, isn't it? I feel it's a pleasant timbre. The music produces an oriental atomosphere with minor scales. I love this kind of music.

I'm looking forward to reading next.

This time I once wrote this in Japanese and then translated into English.

Chinese plagiarism of Harry Potter

A Chinese author 周艺文 wrote a book 冒险小王子, which means "The Little Prince Adventure". It's not published yet, but the samples were distributed to Chinese schools. The samples get favorable receptions from children and their parents.

The book is said to have 18 same points as Harry Potter series. The points are not clearly stated on the news.

J.K. Rowling is going to sue him for damages. But I wonder if the sue goes well. Because China ignores claims or gets angry in reverse.

China is very famous for producing many many many bootlegs. The authorites take actions against illegal makers, but that's not enough.

A lot of countries have been worried about Chinese piracy. Japan too.

China should try hard to prevent from making pirates, and other countries should more pressure China to do.

China is one of the biggest country that contribute environmental destructions. The countries around China are troubled about its environmental pollution.

China is a nation of dictatorship by the Communist Party. Chinese people are deprived of freedom of speech by the government. Search engines such as Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft obey the rule not to show Chinese people inconvenient truths for Chinese government.

Because of one-child policy, many female babies are killed with abortions. Parents in the countryside are likely to want boys, not girls, because parents want children to feed them in the future. In addition, the ratio of women and men is not balanced, so it causes the increase of men who can't get married and so the increase of sex crimes, especially rapes.

Thai bishojo games

A Thai game company Studio GU is in production of bishojo games, which are popular in Japan.

Japanese news site IT Media says the videos of its games are getting popular on YouTube and Nico Nico Douga. This is the opening of the new visual novel Re Angel, which is the remake of its previous game Angel's Tale.

Though the text and voices are in Thai, some parts like the character design and the composition of the movies are influenced by Japanese games. They also have high quality, so many poeple made comments of surprise and praise.

They also have a demo movie, and the trial version (Thai language) is released too.

Comedy or Tragedy

As I said on Twitter yesterday, North Korea is likely to ignore other countries' advice and leave inconvenient groups. It seems just like the former United States government, whose ex-president once called it the "axis of evil".

Hmm ... why did Bush use the word "axis of evil"? It was the term showing Germany, Italy and Japan around World War II. Did he want to be a winner of "World War III"? For me, he was posing as a hero, or rather a cowboy in westerns. Look at his face. He should have been a cowboy, not President.

The Bush family had friendship with Osama Bin Laden before. Bush Sr was exporting money and arms around the Gulf War. Some people say Al Qaeda planned September 11 because Bush Jr became President of the United States. Love turned into hate.

Subprime loan problems ... Bush loves limited government, so he pursued market fundamentalism and carried out deregulations. And we have troubles now.

"The invisible hand of God" Thank you for the optimistic word, Adam Smith.

My goodness. Kim Jong-il was elected again as its leader. So he will spend more money on military, not for its people. One of his jobs must be an egoist.

Autocracy : to be continued

China and Russia are too easy with North Korea. They are "relatives". I mean, they're socialist or communist nations.

North Korea is short for Democratic People's Republic of Korea. But it's never democratic. They should change its name to Priviledged Class's Aristocratic Nation of Korea.
